“Nay, nay, sasakay po ba kayo?” I was in the Philippines for my summer vacation. I was visiting my grandson by then. The statement that the dispatcher asked me meant ”Ma’am, ma’am, are you going to ride?” Well, the truth is, for the Filipinos, when you call someone Nanay, it would actually mean “old lady”. And that would be me, I guess? Now, I don’t really care ‘cause I am a grandmother anyway; but I was just 49 years old at that and I was already being referred to as “Nanay”. I had a problem, and that was my wrinkles. At a very young age, I started aging, I could see a few lines here and there when I was just 36 years old. By that time, I believed it was normal and that I was going to live with it for the rest of my life. BUT, here comes wrinkle reduction techniques.
