“Aaaaahhhhh!” I was startled when I heard my mother screaming. It was 6 in the morning and so I ran upstairs and made my way to her room. She was looking in the mirror when I saw her, so I asked her what was wrong. She looked at me with this worried face and asked me, “Do I look old?” And then, I burst into laughter. I almost rolled on the floor because of what she asked me. I couldn’t believe I scrambled all my way up to her room just to be asked this question. But, I saw the source of her distress. She had a few lines here and there…Wait, what do they call that? Oh! Yeah! Wrinkles. So, that was how it started, we were talking about tips on wrinkle reducing the whole day.
“When you’re in your late 30s and mid 40s, you’ll start to understand why wrinkles are a problem. But as for now, dear, help me find ways to reduce my wrinkles.” Then, we both smiled at each other.
