facial exercises“Aaaaahhhhh!” I was startled when I heard my mother screaming. It was 6 in the morning and so I ran upstairs and made my way to her room. She was looking in the mirror when I saw her, so I asked her what was wrong. She looked at me with this worried face and asked me, “Do I look old?” And then, I burst into laughter. I almost rolled on the floor because of what she asked me. I couldn’t believe I scrambled all my way up to her room just to be asked this question. But, I saw the source of her distress. She had a few lines here and there…Wait, what do they call that? Oh! Yeah! Wrinkles. So, that was how it started, we were talking about tips on wrinkle reducing the whole day.

“When you’re in your late 30s and mid 40s, you’ll start to understand why wrinkles are a problem. But as for now, dear, help me find ways to reduce my wrinkles.” Then, we both smiled at each other. I knew I had to face the “scary truth” sooner or later. But, I had to fix my mom’s truth first. Well, to start off, wrinkle reducing is one of the problems that most ladies and women usually encounter when they reach their late 30s, unluckily for some they get these lines at a very young age. (Glad to know I don’t belong.) Well, I researched and found one thing that kept recurring in wrinkle reducing researches.

First off, dermatologists highly recommend us to NOT expose in midday sun intentionally. It’s a big NO-NO, unless we wear sunscreen. Secondly, sleep on your back. It has been said that when you sleep on your side, lines become etched on your cheeks and chin, and mind you they don’t fade like smoke once you’re up. As time goes by, they would etch deeper and hence leave lines that will remain there for the rest of your life. Lastly, stay away from smokers and don’t smoke for yourself. Cigarette smoking releases enzymes that break down collagen and elastin- the fibers responsible for the skin’s elasticity and thickness.

Well, okay, so even if I’m only in my late 20s, I understand why my mom’s kind of freaking out. But I don’t need to freak out anymore and neither do you. Wrinkle reducing won’t be a problem so long as we know how to take care of ourselves. The tips are given, all we need to do is follow.

    Hehe but one needs to know that a BB Cream is a ‘skincare’ product brefoe a ‘makeup’ product. It is firstly a cream that helps with healing the skin/blemishes, and provides the skin with nutrients, antioxydants . that is it’s main priority. only secondly, and more of a bonus, it acts as a cover for our pores/blemishes/etc. if chanel, la mer, skII, etc can charge hundreds for a cream, i don’t see why BB cream cant it has all the benefits of a cream and to top that off, it help covers our imperfections!
