“Honey, don’t forget about our date. I love you.” My husband said as he was about to leave for work, he kissed me and then said. “You look more and more beautiful each day.” Then, he winked and turned his back. “Hah.” I heaved a sigh and said to myself, it’s such a wonderful feeling to still be in love after 27 years of marriage. It feels like nothing has changed. But as I look in the mirror and start looking for something to wear, I couldn’t help but notice the look on my face. I was able to spot a few number of lines here and there, and that’s when I start wondering whether or not nothing really has changed. I had to find ways to reduce wrinkles; thinking that the best gift I could ever give my husband would be myself.
A friend shared some ways to reduce wrinkles. Those that she would personally use to maintain her vibrant skin. So I had to take note of them. First, she told me that a body well taken care of will give out well and great results. To sleep tight and sleep right would be the first step. Getting an adequate amount of sleep allows your cells and hormones to regenerate, which eventually will result to fresher and younger looking skin. Secondly, strictly no sunscreen; no sun.
Dermatologists find the sun as a primary factor in wrinkling, therefore, intentional exposure would not be beneficial if you want to slow down the process of aging. Third and last, stay away from cigarette smoking, researchers say that cigarette smoke have enzymes that thwart the production of collagen and elastin. These hormones aid in revitalizing the skin.
Now that I have found some ways to reduce wrinkles, I don’t find the need to worry about whether or not what we have going on in our marriage is for real. My husband loves me and that’s all I need to know. For you ladies, this article will surely help in pampering yourselves. Give your skin time to breathe every once in a while. Then say hello to beautiful, and say goodbye to bad old days. A heart full of smiles and a face with no more lines.
